We’re Hiring
We have three positions available at Condor Electronics. Business is booming and we need help!
Electronics Bench Tech. We need an experienced technician with a good electronics background who can deal with a variety of interesting and often eccentric audio designs. If it makes music, we work on it. This means we handle topologies from analog to RF, tube to digital, lots of pro audio and of every possible product you can think of. Mics, mixers, powered equipment, studio monitors, broadcast, keyboards, guitar amps, digital processing, DJ gear, lighting control and home audio as well. We have repaired tens of thousands of items since the early 90’s, and the experience level at Condor Electronics is broad and deep. We’re willing to train a person in bench service techniques if they have fundamental electronics theory, can identify and use Ohm’s Law, are able to read the resistor code and can operate unassisted on the bench for periods of time.
Service Management and Customer Support. The ideal person for this job is a music-store salesperson or music tech who knows music products inside and out and can speak to customers authoritatively about musical electronics. This person will handle scheduling repairs, ordering parts, working with customers, and interfacing with tech staff. We are increasing our online sales presence, and experience with selling on Reverb, Ebay etc, is desirable. A broad knowledge of music electronics equipment, its history and use, is desired to do this work effectively. A friendly and helpful person is the one best suited for this position.
Manufacturing Assembler. We make a line of digital tube testing stations and related equipment. https://maximatcher.com. We need assembly help to speed production of these units – we’re selling them faster than we can make them at present. This person needs to know how to solder, how to identify parts, have excellent manual dexterity and be able to follow processes carefully. It’s fairly detail oriented, and good for a person who enjoys doing excellent hand-work. We’ll train the right person too!
